Our next round of pre-incorporation funding is now open for applications – helping academics from our partner universities take promising research outcomes closer to commercialisation.
Applications must be submitted by 26th November 2021.
We’ve already provided funding to 66 projects across our five universities, investing over £2.8million to allow them to progress the commercial potential in their research. Many of our previous projects have now gone on to spin-out as successful and growing businesses.
The application panel is particularly looking for projects that have potential to spin-out as new companies and those applications will be given priority. Large licensing opportunities will also be considered.
