With a pipeline of credible investment opportunities and a vibrant community of Northern Accelerator businesses, we’re determined to make a long lasting impact on the North East’s innovation ecosystem.
As well as managing our seed investment fund, Northstar Ventures is raising a dedicated venture capital fund for spin-out businesses from North East universities.
The fund is focused on harnessing the IP, knowledge and resources of Northern Accelerator universities to create and grow mission-driven companies to solve societal challenges at global scale.
It will invest in seven inter-connected markets central to society post Covid; healthy ageing, the care economy, lifelong learning, climate tech, future work, future homes, and future cities.
Northstar Ventures is in the early stages of developing the venture capital fund.
